🏭 The Story of ADB Belgium
ADB was founded in 1920 by Adrien De Backer in Belgium. The initials of his name became the brand. What started as a laboratory equipment manufacturer quickly moved into theater: ADB produced the first light dimmer for the Malines City Theatre in Belgium, a piece of equipment that ran reliably for over forty years.
In 1938, ADB introduced its first spotlights and never looked back. Through the following decades the company became one of Europe's most respected names in professional stage and studio lighting, supplying theaters, music halls, and broadcast studios across the continent.

🌿 Authentic Patina
Because this spotlight served in real theatrical environments for decades, it carries honest signs of that life. These marks are not defects. They're proof of history, of use, of a story that no reproduction can replicate.
