The story
The ALM Chick lit surgeries at the University Hospital in Amsterdam in the 1980s. Its multi-reflector head was built to give strong, even light without hard shadows, a piece of Dutch medical history.
The restoration
We combined the original lamp head with an aluminium surveyor's tripod with wooden legs, fitted an E14 socket and added approx. 3 m of cord with a switch and EU plug. An E14 LED bulb is included.
In your interior
The orange head and the tripod make a bold floor lamp for a living room, studio, office or hotel lobby. A piece for collectors of medical lighting and for interiors that want colour with a history.
