The story
Elektroinstala Děčín was a lighting maker in northern Czechoslovakia whose wall lamps were built for factories and workshops. The NN5 combines a scissor arm with a flexible gooseneck, so the light can be pulled out and then aimed precisely.
The restoration
We sandblasted the lamp, refinished it in machine black and rewired it with about 3 metres of cord. The original switch still works.

Beside a bed, above a workbench or in a reading corner, the black finish fits modern and minimal interiors as well as industrial ones.
