This is an exceptionally rare and authentic 1930s double-sided illuminated SABA Radio dealer sign, originating from Germany during the golden age of early radio.

This is not a reproduction or generic lightbox. This is an original dealer advertising sign, specifically designed and manufactured for SABA (Schwarzwälder Apparate-Bau-Anstalt), one of the most important German radio manufacturers of the early 20th century.

🏛️ HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE:
SABA was founded in 1923 in the Black Forest, Germany, and quickly became one of the leading radio manufacturers in Europe. By 1935, SABA held around 10% of the German market and ranked second only to Telefunken.

During this period, radio was cutting-edge technology, and illuminated dealer signs like this were used to attract customers and signal modernity, innovation, and prestige.
Very few or even none of these fragile glass signs survived due to time, war, and material decay.
