The story
Famed-1 was a Polish maker of surgical equipment, known for solid medical engineering. This cart once carried a hospital lamp on heavy pipes and arms, rolled from one operating room to the next.
The restoration
We kept the steel base in its original white/beige finish, with its aged texture and front-panel switches, and made two dark-stained oak tops by hand. The upper top rotates and can be lifted off. Props in the photos are not included.
In your interior
Use it as a side or coffee table, a record station with vinyl stored inside, a bar cart or a plinth for plants and art. A functional object with a real past, for lofts and retro interiors alike.
