This is a Vintage item, so there are signs of wear, making it highly unique.

Produced in England in the 1950s, this iconic piece of Hollywood history has been completely restored, rewired, and is ready to shine in your designer interior, museum, restaurant, or shop. The spotlight comes with its original barn doors and carries the unmistakable charm of vintage film equipment.

History of Mole Richardson:

Established in 1927 by Peter Mule, in 1935, it introduced the groundbreaking Fresnel Solar Spot unit and later contributed to wartime efforts by producing searchlights during World War II. Today, the company stands as a prominent manufacturer of stage and motion picture lighting, maintaining its headquarters in California. Renowned for its innovative lighting solutions, it has become a cornerstone in the motion picture and television industry. Expanding its reach, the company established a factory in England in 1936, operating under the name Mole-Richardson (England) Limited.

This particular Vintage spotlight was used by the German Radio und Television Company Bayerischer Rundfunk.

The Spotlight has been re-wired and now holding an E27 fitting, switch on electrical cord and EU plug. The lamp can now be used with any type of LED or light bulb. The light bulb shown in the picture is included.

The Sputnik has 3 legs, so easy to put them anywhere in your home or shop (Without the Tripod).
