The story
NOS (Nitrous Oxide Systems) bottles became an icon of street racing and car tuning around the turn of the millennium, made famous by The Fast and the Furious films and the game Need for Speed Underground 2. This piece turns a real fire extinguisher into that iconic nitrous oxide bottle, with a pressure gauge and rotary knob for looks.
The restoration
The extinguisher was emptied, stripped and refinished in metallic nitro blue, then finished with a NOS decal, gauge and knob. It is an empty bottle, not a working nitrous tank.
