The story
Reif Dresden was a German lighting maker whose accordion lamps served in factories and design studios in the decades when Bauhaus thinking shaped everyday objects. Their scissor lamps are now sought after by collectors of industrial design.
The restoration
We sandblasted the metal, refinished it in midnight black and rewired the lamp with a new fitting. The bakelite shade keeps its authentic patina.
