Soviet Factory Spotlight Desk Lamp on Vintage Teak Tripod - 1970s USSR Industrial Machine Light, E27

Not every object needs restoration into something it was never meant to be. Sometimes two things simply belong together.
This Soviet-era factory spotlight was pulled from an industrial machine in a USSR-era production facility, the type of directional work lamp that illuminated assembly lines, precision tasks, and workshop benches across the Soviet industrial complex during the 1970s. Compact, purposeful, and built without any concession to ornament. It has been inspected, fully rewired, and fitted with an E27 socket.
The tripod is something else entirely. An adjustable tabletop stand in teak with brass inlays. In combination with the spotlight it adjusts smoothly between 50 and 70 centimetres. It holds the spotlight exactly where it needs to be. It was never designed to do this. It does it perfectly.
The result
A desk lamp with two separate histories and one coherent presence. The warm tone of the teak against the industrial character of the Soviet spotlight creates a contrast that does not resolve: it simply holds. That tension is the point.
The original switch on the spotlight body remains in place and fully functional, no inline switch added, no character removed. The lamp operates exactly as it did when it left the factory floor, except now it sits on a desk.
