The story
ADEM was a Dutch maker of practical work lighting. Scissor lamps like this one could be pulled out over a desk or workbench and pushed back flat against the wall when not needed.
The restoration
We rewired the lamp, fitted a new E27 socket and added a switch on the cord. The black finish and its patina are original.
In your interior
A strong graphic line on the wall beside a bed, sofa or desk, and a real working lamp when you pull it out.
