Shipping costs calculated at checkout
A Parisian theatre spotlight from the 1950s that kept a detail most lost long ago: its ventilation tray, which let heat escape during long nights on stage. It now stands on a weathered wooden surveyor tripod.

The story
A.E. Cremer was founded in Paris around 1920. Under the founder and later his son William, Cremer lights lit Parisian revues, film sets and early television. When colour television demanded new types of lamps, the company could not keep up and closed in the 1970s. Its spotlights are now sought after by collectors and set designers.
The restoration
We rewired the spotlight and kept the housing, ventilation tray and focus mechanism original. The tripod was chosen for its wood and patina, which match the age of the lamp.
In your interior
Warm wood and matte black work well in a living room, a library or a restaurant with a vintage character.
