The story

Brillié was one of France's great makers of electric clock systems. In stations, factories and public buildings, a master clock sent a pulse every minute to slave clocks like this one, keeping every clock in the building exactly in step.

The restoration

The housing was semi-polished to reveal its patina. The original pulse movement was tested and works, but it needs a master clock or a modern pulse generator; it will not run straight out of the box. If you prefer, we can convert it to two quartz movements so it runs on two batteries.

In your interior

Hung from its chain in a hallway, loft, restaurant, bar or office, it reads from both sides. A historic object for collectors of station clocks and lovers of French industrial design.
