A vintage 135 mm camera lens turned into a lamp, hanging from an antique barn door pulley. The height of the lens is adjustable along the cord.

The story
Prinzgalaxy lenses were sold through the British retailer Dixons in the 1970s and 1980s, when interchangeable telephoto lenses made serious photography affordable. The pulley once ran a barn door.
The restoration
We fitted the lens with an E14 socket and grey textile cord, and refinished the pulley in a hammered satin black.
