The story
Explosion-proof lamps were built with heavy housings and sealed glass so that a spark inside could never reach the air outside. They lit factories, mines and ship holds, where safety mattered more than looks.
The restoration
We rewired the lamp with an E27 fitting and about 2 metres of cord, so it now takes any LED or incandescent bulb.
In your interior
In a hallway, kitchen, man cave, bar or against a brick wall, it brings solid industrial character.
