The story
Hala was founded in Zeist in 1932 and became one of the first Dutch lighting manufacturers. Designer H.Th.J.A. Busquet gave its work lamps their sober, precise character, and they were used in workshops, offices and drawing rooms across the Netherlands.
The restoration
The lamp is checked and in working order, with its original finish and dealer label preserved.
In your interior
The soft grey suits light, Scandinavian and mid-century interiors, beside a bed or above a desk.
