The story
Hala was founded in Zeist in 1932 and became one of the first Dutch lighting manufacturers. Designer H.Th.J.A. Busquet gave its work lamps their sober, precise character, and they were used in workshops, offices and drawing rooms across the Netherlands.
The restoration
We rewired the lamp, added a switch on the cord and semi-polished the shade. The green paint and its patina are original.
In your interior
The faded green works well against white plaster, brick or wood, in a hallway, study or kitchen.
