A 1950s Swedish Army field lamp, rebuilt as a floor lamp inspired by the HELLA rally lights of classic motorsport. Matte black, with a removable rally-style decal on the glass, on a vintage Bosch Eisemann steel tripod. Not an original HELLA lamp, but a one-off creation in its spirit.

The story
In the golden age of rally racing, and in the wild Group B years, cars raced through the night behind banks of auxiliary lamps, and HELLA lights became an icon of that era. This lamp borrows that look, built on a genuine 1950s Swedish Army field lamp (fältarbetslampa).
The restoration
The spotlight was fully sandblasted and refinished in matte black, and a removable HELLA rally-style decal was applied to the glass. We rewired it with approx. 3 m of cord and an inline switch and mounted it on a vintage Bosch Eisemann steel tripod.
