An iconic piece of Eastern European industrial design. This large wall clock was produced by Pragotron in former Czechoslovakia during the 1960s and was originally used as a slave clock, synchronized by a master clock in a busy factory or station environment.
Today, it stands as a bold industrial statement piece. Perfect for lofts, modern interiors, offices, studios, restaurants, or design-focused homes.
The clock features a dark brown bakelite body and back cover, a plastic dial and a glass cover. It has been converted to a battery-powered quartz movement, making it easy to use in contemporary spaces. We re-used the original hands. The clock runs on one AA battery (not included).
As a true vintage item, the clock shows visible signs of wear, which only enhance its authenticity and character. Please note that a small chip is present at the top of the casing (see photos). This does not affect functionality and is part of its industrial past.
