The story
Praktica cameras were made in Dresden, one of the historic centres of German camera making. The BC1 is an 1980s SLR, here with its original Prakticar lens.
The restoration
We fitted an E14 socket inside the lens and added approx. 2 m of cord with an inline switch and EU plug. The camera keeps its original look and signs of use.
In your interior
On a desk, bookshelf or bedside table, or hung on the wall by its strap, it is a small light with a story, and a fitting gift for photographers.
