The story
Strand Electric was the leading name in British stage lighting for decades, supplying theatres, television studios and concert halls in the UK and beyond. The Patt 23, nicknamed “Pig Nose” or “Pipo” for its distinctive front, became one of the most recognisable stage spotlights of the 1960s.
The restoration
We rewired the spotlight and mounted it on a Bosch industrial tripod with its own patina. Please look at the photos of the two damaged tripod handles before buying.
In your interior
A strong floor lamp for a loft, studio, restaurant or bar, giving dramatic accent light or a softer ambient glow depending on where you point it.
