The story
Between the wars, lamps like this stood on the desks of banks, offices and libraries in Germany: green enamel to rest the eyes, a heavy base so nothing tipped over.
The restoration
The base and rod were refinished in machine black and the lamp was rewired with a new 2 m cord, switch and EU plug. The enamel shade keeps its original surface with honest signs of wear.
In your interior
On a writing desk, in a study or library, or on a sideboard in a dining room, it brings warm, focused light and the character of an old office.
